Immunisation Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Immunisation Nurse to join our team at Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare Trust. As a member of our School Age Vaccination Service, you will play a crucial role in supporting the safe delivery and triage of nasal flu and other vaccination programmes.

Our Trust provides community health services to over 523,000 people in the London boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond. We employ around 1,300 people who work across various health centres, hospitals, GP surgeries, and community settings.

• Assess young people for immunisation eligibility and provide relevant advice.
• Contribute to the identification and protection of children at risk of abuse, adhering to local Safeguarding Children's Board guidelines.
• Understand and implement relevant Patient Group Directions, Immunisation Green Book chapters, and storage instructions.
• Participate in health promotion and education activities related to the Childhood Immunisation Campaign.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
