Job Description

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team, working closely with our partner schools to provide specialist support to children with SEMH needs.

The ideal candidate will have a First-Class Degree from a Top 20 UK University and experience working with children with SEND or Behavioural Difficulties. A strong understanding of inclusive education principles and practices is essential.

This is a term-time only role, paying £22,500-£24,500 per annum (£475-500 per week), inclusive of holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide specialist support to children with SEMH needs, promoting their inclusive learning and development
  2. Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to pupil support
  3. Contribute to the development of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
