Job Title: Occupational Therapy Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Specialist. The successful candidate will be instrumental in promoting health and independence by delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions.

You will demonstrate exceptional expertise and skills in areas such as occupational engagement, environmental adaptation, and skill development for meaningful participation.

The role involves managing a designated caseload, completing assessments, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver individualised Occupational Therapy management and treatment programmes based on specialist knowledge of clinically reasoned practice and evidence-based treatment options.
  2. Supervise clinical OT staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and provide education and performance support to junior members of therapy staff, students, and therapy assistants.
Requirements:
  1. Occupational Therapy profession qualification.
  2. Significant post-qualification clinical experience with children and young people who have complex needs.
  3. A competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus pension contribution, life assurance, free meals and parking, wellbeing support and activities, career development opportunities, annual leave entitlement, and birthday off.
