The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in providing financial and contractual management within the construction department of Michael Page Property & Construction. Working alongside the construction and sales teams, they will ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Manage all financial aspects of the construction project, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Contractual Management
    • Liaise with construction and sales teams to ensure project targets are met.
    • Conduct risk and value management assessments.
  • Project Coordination
    • Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.
    • Scrutinise maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
    • Ensure all documents and materials are kept up to date.

Requirements

  • Education
    • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials.
    • Excellent numerical and financial management skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
