Job Title: Vice President LP-led Secondaries

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Vice President LP-led Secondaries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Secondaries market, particularly in LP-led transactions, including portfolio sales, tail-end liquidity solutions, and other complex secondary structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for LP-led secondary investments, aligning with the firm's objectives
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in the LP-led market, including portfolio acquisitions and fund interest sales
  • Source new investment opportunities through direct outreach, intermediaries, and industry relationships
  • Lead the entire transaction process, including assessment, financial modeling, due diligence, structuring, and negotiation
  • Maintain and expand relationships with LPs, GPs, and other market participants to stay ahead of trends
  • Represent the firm at industry events to strengthen its profile in the LP-led secondary market

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in private equity secondaries, with a focus on LP-led transactions
  • Proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing complex secondary transactions
  • Extensive network within the private equity and secondary markets, particularly among LPs and intermediaries
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and mentoring a team of investment professionals
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Exceptional negotiation and deal structuring abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies to senior management and investors
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) is preferred
