Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that customers receive excellent service, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
  • Take ownership of running duty shifts, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Provide excellent customer service, listening to customers and helping to resolve any issues
  • Coach and develop colleagues to improve their skills and performance
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
  • Monitor and report on store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
