About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that the store is run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
  • Be the first point of contact for customers, listening to their needs and resolving any issues
  • Take ownership of running duty shifts, ensuring that the store is operating smoothly and efficiently
  • Coach and develop colleagues to improve their skills and performance
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
  • Monitor and analyze store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
