About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Lung Cancer Nursing team. The successful candidate will provide specialist nursing intervention, support, and education to patients and their families/carers from diagnosis through to palliative care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with lung cancer and mesothelioma, including education, information, and resources.
  • Support staff caring for patients with lung cancer and mesothelioma, promoting best practice and evidence-based care.
  • Liaise with primary, secondary, and tertiary care partners to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse or Midwife with a current NMC PIN to practice in the UK.
  • Experience of working in lung cancer, respiratory, or palliative care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
