We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead Advanced Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality IPC services across our care organisations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective communication channels across the care organisations to ensure timely and accurate surveillance data is presented and used to identify areas for targeted resources.
- Facilitate a culture that promotes health, safety, and well-being, and supports the delivery of a high-quality proactive IPC service.
- Work in partnership with others to develop, implement, and evaluate direction, policies, and strategies related to IPC.
- Support a culture that focuses on respect, continuous improvement, and quality care, ensuring safe infection control practices.
- Promote equality and value diversity, and support the development of a culture that is inclusive and respectful.
- Identify areas for financial improvement within IPC and support the development of strategies to address these.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the delivery of IPC services and projects, as required by the CO Lead Nurse.

Requirements- NMC registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK.
- Degree in nursing or an equivalent portfolio of evidence.
- Evidence of professional/clinical knowledge of IPC management, supplemented by specialist clinical, managerial training, and CPD.
- Evidence of proactive involvement in the mentorship and development of nurses and nursing practice.
- Significant post-registration experience at band 6.
- Evidence of experience using a range of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
