Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom Northumbria University Full time
About the Role

You will support the Principal Investigator in the delivery of research activity on a large NIHR-funded project, 'Strengthening Fraud across the NHS in England'. This project brings together researchers from Northumbria University and the University of Manchester to assess policy approaches, map institutional and networks landscapes, and identify where counter fraud approaches across the NHS in England can be improved. It will build evidence, recommendations, and resources to help in the fight against fraud, with the ultimate aim of reducing the loss of money, damage to public trust, and impact on quality and safety of healthcare.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will undertake landscape mapping, policy analysis in the area of counter fraud in the NHS, secondary analysis of quantitative data, interviews of national stakeholders, and the development of effective and novel ways to present findings, including recommendations for improvement, across the health counter fraud sector.

This is a fixed-term role for 12 months. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator and other team members to achieve project objectives and contribute to the development of research outputs.

Further information about the requirements of the role is available in the person specification. You will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

As a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of researchers and contribute to the development of research outputs. You will also have access to training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
