Job Description: Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient commissioning of complex systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Review project technical documentation and contractual requirements.
  • Define commissioning work packs and prepare relevant procedures with discipline engineers' assistance.
  • Supervise commissioning field activities and ensure safe execution through work permit procedures.
  • Coordinate vendor representatives and subcontractors' activities.
  • Conduct on-site testing equipment, implement test procedures, diagnose and repair faults, and provide technical support.
  • Write reports and documentation, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Train maintenance and operative staff.
  • Work unsociable hours around project deadlines and travel to remote or difficult-to-access sites as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics, or Process Technology.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance, test, or service role within the Oil and Gas and/or petrochemical industry.
- Knowledge of flow metering, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, valves, blowers, sampling systems, analyzers, Flow Computers, E&I wiring, and control panels.
- Willingness to travel worldwide (potentially 50% of the time after 2/3 years).
- Commercial awareness, fluency in English, and strong presentation skills.
