We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our client's support package in their own home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's safety, well-being, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Assist our client with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication administration, and mobility support.
- Support our client in the community, including accompanying them to appointments and engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by maintaining a clean and organized living space, preparing meals, and managing household tasks.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with our client, built on trust, respect, and open communication.
- Work collaboratively with our client's healthcare team to ensure their needs are met and their care plan is implemented effectively.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this role.
- Our client has a cat, so you should not have a cat allergy.
- Our client is a smoker, so you should be comfortable working in a smoking environment.
- You will need a full UK driving license to drive as part of this role.
- Be prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way.
- Be willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.

This vacancy is for a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. The role is for 20 hours per week, with days and times to be discussed at interview.
