Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to our client in their own home.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a beautiful young woman who requires assistance with all aspects of daily care. As her Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting her to get the most out of life, promoting her independence, and enhancing her overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and mobility.
  • Support our client to engage in activities she enjoys, such as horse-riding, trampolining, shopping, and walking.
  • Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, and cleaning.
  • Develop and maintain a person-centred care plan, working closely with our client and her family to ensure her needs are met.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our client, promoting her dignity and respect.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably with individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our client and her family.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of our client.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and a full UK driving licence.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development to meet the needs of our client.
