Job Title: Aerospace Safety Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join Ann Pettengell as a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across our operations. As the Aerospace Safety Manager, you will be the driving force behind our compliance with health and safety legislation, risk management, security, environmental sustainability, and transport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager to plan and deliver projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of health and safety compliance, risk assessments, and incident reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Person Specification:
  • Relevant experience in health and safety, risk management, facilities, and/or estates management.
  • Ability to understand and interpret health and safety legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Interest and experience in energy conservation and sustainability.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications in health and safety.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • High level of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
