Job Title:
Sr. CDP/Jr. Sous Chef

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. CDP/Jr. Sous Chef to join our team at a unique Gloucestershire pub. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Manage and deliver the production needs of the section to the required standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments.
  • Manage time effectively and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Motivate team members through positive behavior and lead by example.
  • Be creative and assist in dish and menu development.
  • Support decisions made and adapt to changes, showing flexibility and enthusiasm.
  • Implement and follow strict rules of personal hygiene.
  • Show alertness, vigilance, and attention to detail of all work.
  • Be proactive in self-development and comply with all Company Policies and legal requirements.


Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a high-volume establishment with up to 1500 covers per week.
  • Passion for good quality cuisine and dedication to your career.
  • A stable background is desired for this position.
