Bellrock Property and Facilities Management is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional building surveying services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage instructions and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collate and write reports to provide valuable insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the team's skill base by developing efficient working practices and sharing knowledge.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to understand and fulfill client needs.
  • Manage client projects and identify opportunities for new client development.
  • Produce tender documents, including specifications, preambles, and preliminaries, using NBS or similar packages.
  • Identify risks and develop robust mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Produce management reports and communicate progress and forecasts to the client team.
  • Attend sites, internal meetings, and external client-facing meetings to ensure effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation affecting client properties and promote sustainable thinking in projects.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience or a Building Surveying degree from a UK university accredited by the RICS.
  • Demonstrable experience in technical due diligence surveys, defect diagnosis, and planned maintenance schedules.
  • Experience in party wall and neighborly advice, writing building condition reports, and advising owners and occupiers on maintenance and statutory responsibilities.
  • Solid understanding of contract administration and experience in delivering fire safety and building safety projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages, as well as a full clean driving license.
