About the Role

Waythrough's specialist social housing offer is designed for individuals with health and social care support needs who may struggle to secure a home from other providers. Our Intensive Housing Management services work closely with stakeholders to ensure residents can manage and sustain their homes, engaging with local opportunities and resources to meet their needs.

The key focus of this role will be on maximising income, reducing debt and rent arrears, and managing financial-related issues such as council tax and utilities. You will prepare information for invoices, collate expenditure data, and create 'audit-ready' evidence files. Additionally, you will oversee residential leases, providing recommendations for extensions, renewals, or disposals based on financial performance, occupancy, and property quality.

Key Responsibilities

About You

We are seeking an experienced individual with knowledge of housing law relevant to social housing, private landlords, and tenants. You should have the ability to support the team in identifying issues, problem-solving, and action planning. Additionally, experience in dealing with landlords and negotiating leases is essential.

What We Offer

As a Property Portfolio Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a talented team. We offer hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance work from home and on-site at Bowburn. This full-time role comes with a salary range of 25,010 - 35,090 per annum. A Basic DBS check is required, and a driving license is not necessary for this position.
