Primary Teaching Assistant - Teacher Training Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced and managed Primary School in Haringey, London. The school is committed to providing excellent SEN provision and is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support children with additional needs.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience of working with children within a Primary School environment and will be supported in their role by a experienced team. After completing a successful academic year, the school will be happy to help the candidate enrol onto teacher training.

The school is keen to keep strong candidates in their team and therefore this role has the potential to move to a permanent contract.

Job Details
  • 5 days a week, Full time until July 2025 minimum
  • Working with multiple learners with ASD and other learning difficulties
  • £90 - £105 per day
  • Support various children inside and outside of the classroom
  • September Start
Person Specification
  • University graduate needed - ideally 1st or 2:1 degree
  • Ideal role for a future S&L Therapist or Psychologist or Teachers
  • Clear and concise communication tools - written and spoken
  • Team Teach trained
  • Experience working with children with additional needs (SEN)
