Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Educator to join our team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering training programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as supporting the education and clinical practice of staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students in diagnostic imaging
  • Support the education and clinical practice of staff in radiology
  • Work closely with the team managers and modality leads to ensure effective recruitment, induction, and preceptorship of newly qualified radiographers
  • Be the key contact with higher education institutes and work in clinical areas with staff to act as a coach, mentor, assessor, and role model
  • Contribute to business planning for the future workforce and manage the apprenticeship degree program in the department

Requirements
  • BSc Hons Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • Professional Registration with HCPC
  • Post Graduate Diploma in relevant discipline
  • Managerial/Teaching qualification and/or equivalent experience
