Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Educator to join our team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a vital role in the development and delivery of our diagnostic imaging training programs.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and coordinating the training of undergraduate and postgraduate students in diagnostic imaging
  • Developing and delivering training programs for radiographers and other healthcare professionals
  • Working closely with our team managers and modality leads to support recruitment, induction, and preceptorship for newly qualified radiographers
  • Acting as a coach, mentor, assessor, and role model for staff and students
  • Contributing to the development of policies and guidelines for diagnostic imaging education and training

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc Hons degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Postgraduate diploma in a relevant discipline
  • Experience of teaching, developing, and delivering training programs
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
