Job Summary

Dr Mahbub's Surgery, Brace Street Health Centre, is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care and be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
  • Work closely with doctors and nurses to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
  • Conduct clinical audits and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
  • Masters degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate diploma or degree in Advanced Practice Qualification.
  • Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber on the NMC register.
  • Experience of working in a primary care environment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Qualified triage nurse.
  • Minor illness qualification.
  • Teaching qualification.
