We are seeking a highly skilled Diabetes Foot Health Professional to join our Community Podiatry Team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert podiatric care to patients with active foot conditions related to diabetes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a degree in Podiatry and a certificate in administration of local anaesthetics. They will also have 5 years of experience treating high-risk patients within podiatry or as part of a multidisciplinary team. A strong background in diabetes management and foot health is essential, as well as expertise in managing wound care and tissue viability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist podiatric care to patients with active foot conditions related to diabetes
  • Manage referrals into the Community Podiatry Team and ensure all referrals are appropriately triaged within 2 working days
  • Assess, diagnose, and formulate specialist treatment plans based on patients' individual needs
  • Act as a source of expert advice, supervision, and education for fellow podiatrists and other healthcare professionals
