Job Title: Tax Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team at TPF Recruitment. Our client, a reputable independent chartered accountancy practice, is looking for a talented individual to support their Tax team in Eastbourne and Brighton.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Tax Partner to assist with client accounting and tax compliance tasks, with opportunities to progress their career in taxation. The role will involve:

  • Supporting the Tax Partner with technical research and preparing tax advice for clients in all areas of taxation
  • Assisting the Tax Partner in dealing with internal technical tax queries for Partners and Managers
  • Developing tax planning ideas and providing proactive advice to clients and staff
  • Preparing Self Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients
  • Assisting the Tax Partner with the preparation of US Federal Tax Returns
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in mixed UK taxation (private clients and corporate clients) is preferred, but candidates with a private client bias who are willing to develop corporate tax experience will be considered
  • Some experience in tax advisory is essential
  • Ability to undertake detailed technical research, work to deadlines, and get involved in wide-ranging issues
