Tax Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. Our client, a leading independent chartered accountancy practice, is looking for an experienced professional to support their Tax team in Eastbourne and Brighton.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work closely with the Tax Partner to assist with client accounting and tax compliance tasks, as well as providing technical research and preparing tax advice for clients. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in taxation and gain experience in UK and US tax expertise.
Responsibilities- Support the Tax Partner with technical research and preparing tax advice for clients in all areas of taxation.
- Assist the Tax Partner in dealing with internal technical tax queries for Partners and Managers.
- Develop tax planning ideas and provide proactive advice to clients and staff.
- Prepare Self Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients.
- Assist the Tax Partner with the preparation of US Federal Tax Returns.
- Experience in mixed UK taxation (private clients and corporate clients) is preferred, but candidates with a private client bias who are willing to develop corporate tax experience will be considered.
- Candidates must have some experience in tax advisory.
- Must be willing and able to undertake detailed technical research work to deadlines and get involved in wide-ranging issues.
