We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our successful day-time only restaurant in the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and managing high-volume operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large teams, controlling labor and stock costs, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. They will also have strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and P&Ls.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Controlling labor, stock, and all costs & budgets, ensuring that expenses are minimized while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing your team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes growth and development.
  • Maintaining high standards, compliance, and company systems & procedures, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be a hands-on leader who can motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results. You will also be responsible for overseeing the kitchen team and working closely with them to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality food and service.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a restaurant/cafe/food led pub/coffee shop manager in busy commercial customer-facing operations.
  • Strong financial & commercial acumen - P&L accountability and budget management.
  • Excellent people, communication, and man-management skills.
  • A hands-on lead from the front approach and a keen eye for detail.
  • An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance.
