Job Details:

We are seeking a qualified Children's nurse to join our team as a Paediatric Staff Nurse on our Starlight Ward. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, and we offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £37,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality care to children with cancer and blood disorders
  • Administering intravenous medication, chemotherapy, and blood products
  • Developing clinical skills and participating in professional development

About the Ward:

Our Starlight Ward is a specialist paediatric oncology and haematology ward, caring for children from across the south west of England. We pride ourselves on delivering world-class care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • Broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment
  • Competence in calculations for safe administration of medicines/fluids
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
