About the Company:
Interaction Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent and well-respected manufacturer located in Kettering. Due to ongoing expansion, our client is seeking to enhance their engineering team by adding a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reduce production downtime by performing routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and addressing unplanned breakdowns promptly.
- Ensure production processes operate efficiently and safely through regular maintenance activities.
- Respond to unexpected breakdowns swiftly, collaborating with engineering and production teams to minimize disruptions.
- Diagnose and rectify equipment failures.
- Conduct all tasks in accordance with Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies.
- Preference for candidates with a Mechanical Bias.
Relevant qualifications or significant experience (over 10 years for time-served engineers / City & Guilds / NVQs) are required.
A solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is beneficial.
Willingness to engage in training and development opportunities.
