We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at the forefront of innovation and excellence in Staffordshire's thriving manufacturing industry.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be an essential part of our maintenance team, responsible for providing technical support to our production equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing planned and preventative maintenance to ensure the efficiency of all production machinery
  • Providing breakdown diagnostics and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Fault finding and rectification on a variety of machinery and systems
  • Working with machinery such as mixers, ovens, moulders, conveyor systems, fast flow machines, check weighers, metal check and X-ray machines
  • Playing an active role in the training and development of the engineering team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled)
  • Fabrication skills, including machining and welding
  • Experience with CMMS and SAP systems
  • A strong understanding of maintenance systems and Lean principles
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety
  • Hands-on experience with power tools
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £46,000 - £47,000 (inclusive of shift allowance), as well as:
