Job Title: Technology Solutions Engineer

ARC IT Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Technology Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions that enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Systems Analysis & Support:
    • Support and administer business systems, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Engage with end users to understand processes and create requirement specifications for improvements.
    • Analyse requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to improve operations and customer interactions.
  • Custom Development & Integration:
    • Develop and maintain custom software solutions, leveraging expertise in C#, Python, JavaScript, and Azure Logic Apps.
    • Write and maintain code to integrate systems and automate processes, ensuring seamless data flow.
    • Support the development of the company website (Umbraco) and ensure it is up-to-date and secure.
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
    • Assist in managing the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, VMWare, networking, backups, and cloud services (Azure/Office 365).
    • Ensure data security and continuity with regular backups (Veeam) and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in software development, with experience in C#, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating systems.
  • Experience of web development, preferably with Umbraco/ASP.NET.
  • Strong knowledge of standard IT infrastructure and systems used in medium-sized companies, including servers, networking, cloud services, and data security practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems ideal.
  • Ability to analyse business processes and identify technology-based improvements.
