Job Overview

Remedy Recruitment Group is currently looking for a skilled SEN educator to join our team. As an SEN tutor, you will be responsible for providing specialized support to children with Special Educational Needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating adaptive lesson plans and resources based on individual student needs;
  • Fostering a positive learning environment by addressing challenging behavior;
  • Collaborating with students, parents, and our team to ensure effective communication and support;
  • Potentially participating in outdoor activities that promote engagement and learning;
  • Utilizing visual aids as a means of communication when necessary.

This opportunity offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to refer suitable work from our dedicated team. You can expect to work with students across various year groups, either after school or during daytime hours for home-schooled students.

Please note that experience working with SEND students and a valid enhanced child workforce DBS are essential requirements for this position.

Estimated Salary: £28-£35 per hour
