Behaviour Support Specialist

Brighton & Hove City Council is looking for a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves working with students who have barriers to learning, providing individualised support and developing effective learning strategies in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
Responsibilities- Work as a Learning Mentor to provide support to students
- Develop and implement learning plans in collaboration with teachers
- Use flexible and creative approaches to support students in overcoming their barriers to learning
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of child development and learning principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and creatively in a dynamic environment
The estimated salary for this position is £27,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role also offers a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development, a supportive and collaborative team environment, and flexible working arrangements.
