Job Title:
Tank Operations Specialist
About the Role:

The successful Tank Operations Specialist will be responsible for coordinating closely with suppliers to arrange transportation, ensuring efficient turnaround of tanks, monitoring and planning UK tank driver schedules, upholding service levels, managing equipment usage, facilitating onboarding, and managing additional costs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process Customer Orders:
  • Coordinate with suppliers for transportation arrangement.
  • Ensure efficient tank utilisation.
  • Optimise Driver Schedules:
  • Monitor and plan UK tank driver schedules for maximum earnings potential.
  • Deliver Excellent Service:
  • Uphold service levels to meet customer expectations.
  • Manage Equipment and Resources:
  • Manage equipment usage according to specific customer, product, and operational needs.
  • Facilitate smooth business integration.
  • Manage Additional Costs:
  • Manage recharge of additional costs.
  • Coordinate tank cleaning, repairs, and maintenance services.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in tank planning is essential.
  • A background in customer-facing roles.
  • Organisational Skills:
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail:
  • Exceptional attention to detail for accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Effective Communication:
  • Clear communication skills for collaboration with team members, drivers, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities:
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify issues, recommend solutions, and make informed decisions under pressure.
Salary and Benefits:

Up to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + life assurance scheme, 25 days holiday, Benefit Hub, Help@Hand scheme, and employee assistance programme.
