The successful candidate will be integral in organising and providing a varied and appropriate programme of activity for the home.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Activities Coordinator, you will plan a varied programme of activity around the needs of your resident group. You will explore the most appropriate methods and resources for meeting activity needs, including group events, individual sessions, and involving internal and external resources and community-based resources.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Previous experience in organising activities
- Ability to understand the needs of residents
- Flexible attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
- Previous experience in working with elders with dementia
