We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Science Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.
Our learners are situated throughout Henlow and Letchworth Garden City, and we are looking for a tutor who can provide high-quality tuition to help them succeed. If you are an engaging teacher or tutor with experience in supporting KS3 - KS4 Science, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Create engaging lesson plans and deliver tuition that inspires and teaches.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
- Competitive weekly remuneration through PAYE.
- Control over your workload; flexible roles that fit around your existing commitments and availability with full-time equivalent hours available.
- Ongoing training opportunities that count towards your CPD and provide insight into working with SEN learners.
- A dedicated Tuition Consultant who will work closely with you to ensure you have as much work as you are able to fulfill, matching you to opportunities that meet your preferences.
- Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 months teaching/tutoring experience within the UK.
- Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
- Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
- A commitment to safeguarding.
- Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
