Job Responsibilities

  2. Integrate acquired company payroll activities into our existing systems, ensuring seamless transition and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Monitor and manage the payroll processes of acquired companies, ensuring timely payment of salaries, taxes, and other statutory payments.
  4. Resolve any issues that may impact the timely payment of employee salaries, taxes, and other statutory payments, reported by employees, other departments, or external agencies.
  5. Manage the integration of payroll data from acquired companies, coordinating with payroll employees and participating in all mergers and acquisitions-related matters.
  6. Perform due diligence and discovery with the acquired company's payroll team on their policies and processes, and manage plans to integrate their payroll with ours.
  7. Retain and manage legacy payroll data from acquired companies according to relevant country and corporate policies.
  8. Manage the termination of payroll vendor contracts for acquired companies.
  9. Ensure that acquired companies have paid all payroll taxes and filed all applicable payroll tax returns.
  10. Advise payroll operations on payroll taxation matters related to mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  11. Manage access and control over acquired company payroll bank accounts, coordinating with Treasury.


Requirements



  • Expert knowledge of payroll processing and integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with mergers and acquisitions-related payroll activities.


Working Hours and Location


This role requires you to work Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office (aside from monthly payroll weeks). The location is in Watford, Hertfordshire.
