Job Title: Healthcare Assistant Professional

About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical support worker to join the elective team on the Clatterbridge site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the nursing staff in providing pre and postoperative care for all patients on the 20-bedded ring-fenced elective orthopaedic ward, M2 Orthopaedic.

Main Responsibilities:
To assist Registered Nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team in implementing patients' care plans. Also undertake some clerical and domestic duties to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements:
- Level 2 in Care (or equivalent experience and commitment to undertaking and completing within 18 months of commencement)
- Completed Clinical Competencies for Clinical Tasks and Procedures as appropriate
- Experience working in a clinical environment
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Polite, Friendly, Approachable, and Self-motivated

Working Conditions:
The position involves working on a busy hospital ward, with regular shifts and occasional periods of quieter time. A professional approach is required during these periods when asked to move to support colleagues in Arrowe Park Hospital. Due to the nature of elective work, the ward has quieter periods which may involve moving to support colleagues in another hospital. However, this does not impact the competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
