The Job Description

This role involves overseeing the Court of Protection team's strategy, business planning, and marketing efforts, as well as managing staff recruitment, training, and compliance. The successful candidate will also handle complaints, mentor junior colleagues, and deliver in-house training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of team performance and caseload management
  • Leadership of monthly team meetings and one-to-ones
  • Collaboration with HR on staff matters

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Mental Capacity Panel membership
  • Qualified solicitor or CILEx professional
  • Professional Deputy experience in Court of Protection

This role offers a competitive salary package, including an estimated salary range of £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as additional benefits such as flexible working options and access to professional development opportunities.
