Job Summary:

Invision Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading construction company to fill a Project Quantity Surveyor position on a high-profile residential development project.

About the Project:

The project involves the demolition of an old prison and the construction of a large residential development consisting of apartment blocks that will house close to 1000 units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of this live site.
  • Procurement Management: You will manage the procurement of multiple packages at various stages of the build.
  • Site Management: Conducting monthly progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors, organizing pre-start meetings with relevant subcontractors, and distributing tender documentation to subcontractors.
  • Cost Control: Analyzing subcontractor tender packages, awarding subcontractor packages, valuing completed works, and negotiating payments.
  • Reporting: Preparing and reviewing Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) on a monthly basis and managing cost control and reporting.
