Job Summary:

Intersect Global Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team in London. As a key member of our commercial management team, you will be responsible for leading the commercial management of a portfolio of projects valued at circa £20M-£30M.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in drafting and negotiating supply chain contracts.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure effective communication with site teams.
  • Manage allocated control accounts, including cost/value reconciliations and out-turn forecast & spend profiling.
  • Ensure costs and records are accurate and up-to-date, in agreement with Network Rail Site Representatives.
  • Utilize Site Commercial and Document Systems (Oracle, CEMAR, ProjectWise, Forecasting Tools) to streamline commercial processes.
  • Provide commercial support to the procurement process.

Requirements:

  • Education to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • No less than 3-4 years of experience operating at Quantity Surveyor level.
  • Experience working on civil engineering, earthworks, or utility projects under NEC terms is essential.
  • A proven track record of commercial success delivering rail-related civils schemes valued upwards of £10M.
