We're seeking an experienced Power Electronics Designer to join our team in Coventry (CV3). Your expertise will be crucial in designing electrical systems for our process treatment equipment, ensuring efficient and reliable operation. With a focus on zero-emission hydrogen production, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable energy.

In this role, you'll oversee the electrical aspects of our projects, from feasibility to commissioning. You'll work closely with our mechatronic, electrical, and mechanical engineers to ensure a holistic understanding of system design and deployment. Your attention to detail and commitment to electrical safety standards will be essential in delivering high-quality results.

This position is suitable for an Electrical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Industry.

Your Role

You'll be responsible for deploying clear design phases for projects, including collecting design requirements, feasibility studies, detailed design, production planning, installation, and commissioning. You'll also gather data to inform your projects and communicate adherence to electrical engineering standards and specifications.

  1. The end-to-end process of a project/programme life cycle from an electrical perspective.
  2. Gathering data and using data to aid your projects.
  3. Communicating and driving adherence to Electrical Engineering Standards and Specifications for assets and components that are produced.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on electrical safety, system design, power management, and appropriate material selections.
