About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Law Absolute Limited. As a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading our company's compliance function and driving organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on day-to-day health & safety, food safety, and general regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Undertake audits on our company processes, practices, and internal guidelines to identify any risk/threat areas.
  • Lead on regulation updates and legislative changes and work with the company to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure compliance across operations, supply chains, and stores.
  • Lead on key projects within the company with a focus on risk and compliance.
Requirements
  • Qualified Lawyer with UK or Commonwealth experience.
  • Previous experience in regulatory/compliance/health and safety. It is essential you have experience working with the regulator.
  • In-house experience advantageous.
  • Strong report writing skills to produce reports/user guidance notes etc.
  • Must have gravitas and be able to push back on the regulator. You will lead on robust conversations so will need to be confident in how you manage those conversations.
  • Our company operates a hybrid working policy. You will need to be able to attend the office 3 days per week with 2 days working from home.
  • We are only able to consider candidates with specific wider health & safety in the workplace experience, risk and compliance expertise.
