Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join a vibrant kitchen team in a meat-centric gastro pub. This role offers a competitive salary, along with overtime and tips, making it an attractive opportunity for culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations.
  • Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A background in fresh food preparation.
  • A passion for utilizing local and seasonal produce.
  • Strong knife skills and a diverse cooking repertoire.
Additional Information

This position requires a valid driver's license, and parking is available on-site. The salary range for this role is between £32,000 - £37,000, plus overtime and tips.
