The Role

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in the North East of England. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking electrical fixed wire testing in commercial and small industrial properties, ensuring compliance with BS7671 standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality electrical testing to the highest standards
  • Work to BS7671 standards, ensuring implementation and compliance of policies and procedures
  • Carry out electrical condition reporting, inspection, and testing
  • Understand the importance of Health and Safety and follow procedure
  • Attend Toolbox Talks and training sessions
  • Accurately record electrical documentation using our CRM system and reporting software
  • Liaise with customers and members of our supply chain

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation work C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365
  • City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Full driving licence held for 12 months (Minimum)
  • 18th edition ideally, with asbestos awareness courses available at our in-house training centre
