Electrical Test and Inspection/Installations Engineer

At phs Compliance, we are expanding our team to meet the growing demands of our business. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test and Inspection/Installations Engineer to join our team in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical installations, including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis, and thermal imaging.
  • Complete all relevant reports and certification associated with inspections and testing using our cloud-based certification software.
  • Perform LED lighting replacements, both during and outside of working hours, in line with project schedules.

Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening and twilight shifts to support customer requirements.
  • Ability to travel to sites across ROI and flexibility to stop over when required.
  • Full UK driving licence, with 6 points or less.
  • SVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification, or equivalent Level 3 NVQ.
  • IPAF 3a & 3b licence.
  • Experience working in an electrical testing environment.
  • Experience with electrical installation/project work, specifically commercial lighting replacements.
