Respiratory Physiology Technician Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our team at Cannock Chase Hospital as a Respiratory Physiology Technician.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform simple diagnostic tests, including spirometry testing and basic lung function measurements.
  • Assist in the running of an efficient diagnostic outpatient facility.
  • Purchase consumables and equipment, monitoring stock levels of the department.

The post holder will work primarily in the delivery of Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) respiratory diagnostic tests.

Key Requirements:
  1. GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths, English, and Science or equivalent.
  2. NVQ level III in Science/healthcare related subject or equivalent experience.
  3. Previous experience in Respiratory Physiology testing.
  4. Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office Access.
Salary and Benefits:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package.
