Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join our team at Enfield Primary Academy. This is a full-time, long-term contract position available immediately.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Possesses QTS or equivalent qualification and prior experience in a Special Educational Needs school
  • Has proven ability to plan and teach students with Autism, ADHD, and communication/language needs
  • Is knowledgeable of the SCERTS approach (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, and Transactional Support)
Key Responsibilities

The SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning and preparing learning activities, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of education are maintained.

Contract Details

This is a full-time, ongoing contract position starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will benefit from working within a supportive and established leadership team, with access to professional development opportunities and training.

About the School

Enfield Primary Academy is a 3-form entry primary school part of a larger all-through academy based in London. The primary school has a curriculum that enables students to make rapid academic progress across various subject areas, with a focus on reading, writing, and numeracy. We maintain high expectations of both staff and students alike, with good behaviour and a strong emphasis on academic achievement. Our estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
