Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND teaching assistant to support a child with multiple needs in a Calder Valley Primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to the child with learning, mobility, and medical needs.
  • Assisting with medication administration and personal care.
  • Offering emotional and pastoral support to the child.
  • Being vigilant to the child's cues and needs, and being flexible with their timetable.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with medical needs.
  • Ability to administer medication and provide personal care.
  • Strong pastoral and emotional support skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to think on the spot.
