About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Robotics Deployment Engineering team in the expansion of our EU fulfillment network. The successful candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including internal teams and external vendors/contractors, to deliver large-scale engineering projects on time and within budget.
  2. Critical Path Management: Identify and manage critical path items, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of technical issues.
  3. Communication: Communicate project status, risks, and delays to multiple stakeholders, and escalate issues as necessary.
  4. Design Reviews: Participate in technical design reviews and propose innovative solutions for material handling and storage technologies that meet business needs and global design standards.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various internal teams, including World-Wide Engineering, Construction, Operations, Reliability Maintenance Engineering, IT, and Procurement.

This role requires a high level of ownership, motivation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results-oriented initiatives and simplify complex strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong project management experience in a large organization, working on feasibility, design, and deployment in a global environment.
  • Experience leading a project team and engineering contractors in an operational environment.
  • Ability to provide large-scale continuous improvement on deployment efficiency and establishing processes.

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This position is office-based following a hybrid model, with the flexibility to work remotely when suitable.
