About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead our Robotics Deployment team. As a key member of Amazon's Robotics Deployment Engineering, you will be responsible for planning and executing large-scale logistics process automation projects across the UK.

With a strong background in engineering program management, you will have excellent technical problem-solving skills and experience leading cross-functional teams. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential in this role.

You will work closely with various internal teams, including World-Wide Engineering, Construction, Operations, Reliability Maintenance Engineering, IT, and Procurement, to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs and global design standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end ownership for large-scale engineering projects, from planning to launch and support
  • Coordinate critical path items and provide innovative solutions to resolve technical issues
  • Assess and communicate project status, managing escalations on potential risks and delays
  • Prepare and conduct weekly meetings with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to track deliverables

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and significant experience in project management, preferably in a large organization with a global environment. Excellent influencing skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead cross-functional process improvements are essential in this role.
