Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated nurse to lead our cardiac division team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical audit, evidence-based practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues, and providing skilled professional leadership.

The successful candidate will have recent experience within a catheter laboratory setting as either a Senior Band 5 or Band 6 Nurse. They will also have knowledge of cath lab procedures, cardiac anatomy, and cardiac diseases.

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and motivated nurse to join our existing band 6 team and take on a challenging leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and improve standards of care through clinical audit, evidence-based practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues, and providing skilled professional leadership.
  2. Undertake nurse-led admission and discharge of patients attending the cardiac day lounge.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience within a catheter laboratory setting as either a Senior Band 5 or Band 6 Nurse.
  • Knowledge of cath lab procedures, cardiac anatomy, and cardiac diseases.
  • Ability to provide skilled professional leadership and support to colleagues.

Salary:

£39,897 per annum (based on a 37 hour week), inclusive of annual leave allowance and employer pension contributions.
